CAN I BRING MY DOG?
As much as we LOVE pets, pet visitors will be limited to service dogs only, which will have to be clearly indicated on their vests. We do sincerely hope you’re still able to attend!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please give yourself enough time on Friday to set up before the sun sets. The sun usually sets in central Florida in March around 7:00 PM.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Of course! This event is very kid friendly. We will even have a “Kidz Korner” where kids can color, do crafts, play games, eat snacks, and we will have a slip and slide!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
While seasoned campers have their favorite gear and set up, we do have some suggestions for newer campers on what to bring:
- Tent
- Sleeping pad or mattress
- Sleeping bag or blankets
- Pillow
- Headlamp, flashlight, batteries
- Camp chair
- Clothes, moisture-wicking t-shirts, light jacket/sweatshirt, pajamas, sneakers, flip flops
- Toiletry kit
- Hand sanitizer
- Snacks (Main meals are provided: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner, Sunday breakfast).
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR?
In Florida, average high temperatures in March range from 70°F to 79°F (21-26°C), and average lows are 56°F to 70°F (13-21°C). It is the dry season with comfortable weather. Expect a lot of sunshine, but be prepared for windy days as well.
